So that’s the only way we can finish our job satisfactorily. Be it successful or a failure, you just try your best. Because success doesn’t always depend on your power of the brain, the mind, or your hands. It depends on many other factors including the past karma, the present karma. And of course, your willpower, your sincerity, and the urgency of that job, which demands your utmost attention, or just halfway. Nevertheless, whatever job is assigned to you, you just do your best.

Can you hear me? (Yes.) Good. Thank you. Hey, good evening again. This is “Radio Ching Hai” coming to you from Kaohsiung, Taiwan (Formosa). Hope you’re OK and your meditation is improving and that you remember me. The busiest radio host who ever existed on this planet. And you know who. (Yes.) And if my voice sounds coarse, not so melodious like usual, then you know it’s the karma. I don’t care whose karma, it is the karma. I have two doctors taking care of me, and still, it’s not getting completely better yet, not back to normal yet. So, I hope you can bear it with me because I’m very frustrated sometimes. I like to talk, and it takes effort to talk, and it’s very frustrating for me, especially a radio host who loves to talk a lot. You know that.

And if my voice sounds even bitter, like coffee without sugar, then it’s because I have just been taking the bitter pills. The bitter pills are from Taiwan (Formosa). One of your doctors in Taiwan (Formosa), he’s a bitter guy. He always gives me something bitter to take. And even worse, you have to take away the cover of it and take the pure powder inside. And he doesn’t even let me swallow it. He tells me I have to put on my tongue and let it soak there as long as possible. Well, I cheat. After a few seconds, I can’t bear it. I rinse it. I rinse it down with ginger tea. And even then, it’s still bitter. So I’m having like a bittersweet time. Sweet because the Kaohsiung people, I like very much.

And I just boasted to one of the doctors who came from far away to see me. Because he gave me a lot of medicine, and I didn’t get any better. So, he worried that I might die without saying goodbye. Perhaps. So, he rushed over here and gave me more medicine. He just wanted to find out what caused it – that even the strong medicine and the antibiotic did not work. He’s a senior doctor. I don’t want to tell you whom because you might rush to see him, and he’s a very busy guy already. He has one woman, four dog-people, a son and a clinic to work for. Therefore, I don’t want to tell you whom. But he had a good connection with me in a former life. Very good connection. When I was a king of some sort in some country, he was a royal physician, and he was good. He even knew a little magic at that time. But right now, of course, he’s not allowed to use it. Anyway, he’s forgotten already. Only I remember. That’s the bad thing about remembering the past. Because you will know things which are not very pleasant to remember, and you will know some things that you want to remember but you have to forget. It’s not too good to know too much about the past and the future. It’s better just to work on the present right now.

Whatever you have at hand, you take care. Take care to the best of your ability, as if that is the first job you ever got and the last job you’ll ever get. You were all thinking of me like a magical Master; the Master can do many things for you. That is the inside job. The inner Master can do anything for anyone if it’s good for that person. But the outer Master has outside jobs to do, and in this respect, I’m no better than you. I work day and night, whenever I have a job to do. Be it for the world or be it for my dog-people or for anyone whom I need to take care of at that time. And I do that whenever I have to in those seconds or minutes or hours, however long it takes.

Then, whether success or failure, you will not feel guilty or regretful; that’s the best way to do it.

I have just boasted to the person who came to see me, the physician, and I told him, “Oh, the Kaohsiung people, look at the way they built this little house for me.” It’s small, but it has enough. Even for me, it’s big already. But it has enough room for me and my dog-people. And besides, we have two extra little trailers for the dog-people so that they can go there and eat their food. Because when they come to see me, they’re so excited, they run around; they don’t even sit down to eat, so I told them, “Feed them there first and clean them, and then come to my house later.” Even though it’s a small house, it’s enough for seven dog-people and one human. And the way they built it, it’s very ideal for me, and they really take care of details, and everything they put in the house, I feel, is with love and with consideration.

They even consulted a feng shui master to build where and what and how and all that, and I really appreciate it very much. I really feel happy staying in that house. They give me everything I need, without me thinking of anything. Of course, I repaid them; after I knew the cost and everything, I repaid them. But when they built the house and bought me all the necessities, put them in their place, and arranged things for me, they never thought I’d even come. They just did it because of love. Let alone thinking that I have to pay them back. I didn’t even know they built it. Only recently, I came back to Taiwan (Formosa) after many years, then I knew there’s a house here, and then I came and checked it out. And I really liked it very much. It’s next to your meditation hall, so I’m here all day.

Just one second, please. I’m just like a kid; I don’t like this medicine at all. It’s so bitter. You have to soak it on your tongue for a long time, even if you rinse it with tea, it doesn’t go away. But the doctor said it will help me a lot. I’m sure it helps the pharmacy at least. Because so many medicines have been given to me since I came here. Even from overseas, one of your sisters also gave me some medicine to apply on my body and on some of these important meaning the [acupuncture] points, and then also for the flu. I didn’t take the flu medicine, though, because I was taking another medicine at that time, and I just was patient to wait for that medicine to work, so I didn’t want to take too many medicines. But even then, I’m very touched by all your care. And today there was some more medicine from Taiwan (Formosa) and more medicine from the other country coming. So I joked with my helper, I said, “My God, I can open a pharmacy right now!” Because so many medicines: one to take in case, one to have for reserve, and this and that.

By the way, I hope all of you are happy and healthy. Yes or no? (Yes.) Just clap, maybe my assistant will tell me. Very good. Anyway, is any one of you seriously sick or anything? Yes or no? (No.) If no, just clap. OK. Very good. I just want to talk to you a little bit because today my voice is better. I know it doesn’t sound like that. I’m just like “half the man I used to be.” Also, I feel easily tired and sleepy. I guess it’s the medicine or just work because I don’t sleep a lot. And in the morning, we work a lot, sometimes very late. As I told you, the physical work is the same like with everybody else, and if I see work, I cannot say I won’t do it. Like, you feel very responsible, especially if this work is going to be broadcast all over the world, then I cannot just neglect it. So I’m just like you, working every second, every minute, every hour, whenever it’s demanded.

Sorry. Wow. So bitter. My God, it’s still... Well, at least you know about the bitter medicine; but the sweet people of Kaohsiung, everything they do is mostly very agreeable to me, compared to some other areas where I’m not always pleased with the way they arrange things. And if I don’t have time to direct them what to do, then many times it’s not done satisfactorily. And in Kaohsiung, whatever they do, I’m very happy with it. I don’t have to interfere; I don’t have to complain about anything. Oh, my God. Don’t worry, today I’m still coughing, but it’s not as bad as before. It’s already improving a lot. And that’s why today I feel like I want to talk to you. Yesterday, for example, or the day before even, if I wanted to talk to you, I could not gather my strength and energy. It just felt like I could not do it. I didn’t even feel like doing it, and even to call my doctor, it was like a big effort, I don’t know why. I felt like I was so tied up or tired, or exhausted, or whatever it was – the feeling was not very pleasant, and today I got out of it.

And I just want to say to you that I love you very much and I’d do anything for you, of course. Just when I’m sick, please excuse me, I need to recover, so that some other day I can see you. I hope tomorrow I can see you if you’re still there. Will you still be there tomorrow? (Yes.) Well, that’s good. Will any of you leave tomorrow? No clapping? OK. Then you mean you will stay. Good.

And they take care of you well? Kaohsiung people? (Yes. Very well.) Excellent. Because here, I feel they have very good consideration. Because I eat the same as you do, so I know how they cook for you. They have (vegan) soup, and they have cooked vegetables. Actually, some things like green beans, you cannot not cook, huh? So, it’s better you cook for twenty minutes to get rid of the poison in there. Many foods also have inherent poison but in the minimum amount, and some have a little bit more, like the green beans that you ate today. You should cook them for twenty minutes. That’s what I heard.

Anyway, I eat the same food, and I am very pleased with the way they cook for us. Of course, we have rice. I don’t know if they have brown rice or white rice, but I have brown rice because I normally eat with just sesame and salt. But now they cook a lot of things, so I eat anyway. Also, I still add some sesame and salt, and I’m very pleased that they cook food with all-around good nutrition. They have fresh salad with fruit in it and some nuts sometimes. I feel very pleased with that. So even people who eat raw, at least they have nutrition from the nuts, from the protein of the nuts, and the fruits and the green salads. But “greeny” things, they cook, and it’s very nice. Very good for all tastes. They also have enough protein, vegetarian (vegan) protein. And then they have other things, changing mostly every day, and that’s good enough for us. It’s good enough for you? (Yes!) Wow. Many hands make good work. I can hear it.

So I hope you’re healthy now. When I saw you last time, I heard somebody coughing. Are you better now, these coughing people? (Yes.) I’m asking the sick people, not all of you; if you all clap, I’d think all of you have been sick. Are they good? If they say good, then clap for them. OK. Pretty good. Actually, we have a good doctor here. But if you don’t feel better after two, three days, you should seek another’s advice or ask for another medicine. OK? (Yes.) In Kaohsiung, I heard that the pollution is a little heavy – five times more than normal. So, if you don’t get better even with antibiotics, or before taking antibiotics, maybe you should consider other kinds of medicine, more natural medicine for allergies, or something like that, or for boosting your immune system. Because otherwise, if you keep taking antibiotics, it might not work in this case, and you’re just not doing a favorable job for your bodies. Understand that? (Yes.)

I will ask your doctor, I will tell the contact person or somebody from here to tell the doctor here maybe to consider another doctor’s advice or ask for some other advice. I know one. And maybe if you don’t feel better after some cough syrup or some of these other medicines, maybe after three, four days, you should consider another kind. Because if you’re affected by a virus, then antibiotics won’t help you at all. And you just keep making your stomach, your body, become like a pharmacy. It’s no good.

That’s all for now, and I wish you a very beautiful night, either in meditation or in your dreams. I’m always here. I’m always very near. A few meters away only. And I’m always with you in my soul, my spirit. And my best wishes for you.

Is tonight the 31st? (Tomorrow.) Tonight is New Year’s Eve, right? Somebody answer me. (Tomorrow.) Just a moment. My God, I work too hard. I don’t even know what day is today. I’m checking, checking. Is today the 31st? I mean tonight? (Yes, Master.) Oh, my God. New Year’s Eve. (No, tomorrow night.) Tomorrow night! Tonight’s still the 30th? (Yes.) OK, OK. Then, it’s fine. Then, I save it for tomorrow. I love you very much. I always do, and I always will. OK? I will forever love you. OK, then. See you. I’ll see you tomorrow, I hope. Sorry. I still have a lot of work, a lot of paperwork to do for [Supreme Master] TV. And I’ll try to finish this so that tomorrow I’ll be free for you. OK? Good night and love you! God bless!
