Caring for your eyes is important for everyone but especially so for those people who use contact lenses. I have an eye tip for you. Contact lenses are more convenient than wearing glasses in many situations. However, the issue with contacts is they can trap bacteria between your cornea and the lens, which can lead to infection, corneal ulcers and other complications. In less severe cases, a scar may develop on your cornea, but in more serious situations, it can lead to worsening or blurry vision. Ophthalmologists like me don’t recommend engaging in any activity that could compromise or cause contamination to contact lenses such as swimming in a pool or lake while wearing contacts or even showering with them or using tap water to store or rinse them. When you can, use your glasses to give your eye-surface a break, and always follow careful cleaning and storing instructions when using lenses.

You have an all-access pass to the joke of the day. Congratulations! This one's called “Exotic Culture?”

Diverse visitors and tourists from all around the world enjoyed visiting a museum in Canada about Canadian history. Two museum guides were talking about their guests:

“How exotic and unique all these different people are!”

“Well, they must think our culture is exotic and unique, otherwise they wouldn’t be visiting the museum.”

“Wait… if they’re exotic to us and we’re exotic to them, who's got the normal, non-exotic culture?”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Yu-Feng in Taiwan, also known as Formosa
