In today’s news, United Arab Emirates sends humanitarian aid to Gaza, scientists warn climate change could increase high mountain avalanches, taxis in Madrid, Spain, to go green, China’s border port with Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, now allows fruit imports, courageous man rescues two people from burning vehicle in United States, vegan meat sales almost double in Switzerland, and rescued puppies learn to sniff out water pipe leaks in New Zealand.

United Arab Emirates (UAE) provides relief aid to Gaza.

The UAE recently sent 20 ambulances with vital security, safety and emergency equipment to Gaza. Organized by the Emirates Red Crescent, the donation aims to improve the healthcare system and humanitarian conditions of the Palestinians. The Gulf state has demonstrated steady support for the people of Palestine and provided over 1,760 metric tons of food and medical supplies to 40,000 Gazan families since January 2021. The United Arab Emirates is a recipient of the Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance, and a laureate of Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, Environment Protection, Protection, and Compassion. Our heartfelt gratitude, United Arab Emirates, for your brotherly love for the people of Palestine. May Allah bless them all to live in peace, joy and abundance.

Study cautions global warming could trigger more high mountain disasters.

An international team of scientists has published a report on the Ronti Peak avalanche in India’s Uttarakhand state, a tragic event which took the lives of over 200 people and damaged hydropower infrastructure in February 2021. Led by Dr. Dan Shugar from Canada’s University of Calgary, the paper estimates that the amount of collapsed rock and ice was approximately 27 million cubic meters. In its descent, it rapidly grew into a massive debris flow that hit the valley floor with the force of multiple atomic bombs. Alarmingly, the analysis highlights that while steep mountains are susceptible to mass movements, climate change is exacerbating such hazards. As global heating melts and destabilizes the glacierized slopes, the study warns soberly that the Ronti Peak avalanche could be a “precursor” to more such catastrophic events as warming continues. Many thanks, Dr. Dan Shugar and all scientists involved. To ensure a safer future, may humanity urgently transition to the climate-cooling vegan diet, in Heaven’s wisdom.

Up next, taxis in Madrid, Spain, to go green. We’d like to thank the memory design and development engineers, who find ways to optimize the memory of computer chips and their processing speed. When we return, more illustrious news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television! Vegan side effect: walking, feeling like a hero.

Good day, inquisitive viewers, it’s Sarah the vegan Purple Swamphen! As a cool vegan, I’m always full of energy and good vibes – two of the many benefits of a plant-based diet. So, go vegan today and power up like me! Did you know there is a correct way to hang wet laundry? If it is not done properly, it may take longer for it to dry and you could also end up with more wrinkles. For pants, align the inner seams and hang them on the drying rack or clotheslines by the very bottom of the pants instead of the waistband. The heavier waistband will help the fabric hang down, pulling the wrinkles away. Similarly, pin your knit-garments like cotton T-shirts and sweaters upside down at the sides to avoid wrinkles or stretching at the shoulders. And for woven shirts like button-downs, you should dry these using hangers. But if you do use clothespins, it’s also better to pin them by the bottom hems. Much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for watching. And now for the weather around the world.

Madrid, Spain, to use green, hydrogen-powered taxis.

The Professional Taxi Federation of Madrid recently launched a €100 million project that will see at least 1,000 gasoline-powered taxis replaced with hydrogen models by 2026. The fuel will be generated by an electrolyzer that uses power from a solar farm to split hydrogen gas from water, which will be used to run Toyota Mirai cars. The vehicles feature a hydrogen fuel cell that can run for up to 600 kilometers on one tank. Spanish photovoltaic developer Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, part of the United Arab Emirates-based Abdul Latif Jameel Energy, will participate in the initiative by creating the hydrogen production infrastructure, vehicle recharging stations and fuel supplies. Great news, Professional Taxi Federation of Madrid and all involved in this Earth-friendly initiative. In the blessings of God, may your project be a success and help encourage the full conversion of all vehicles in Spain to planet-friendly models.

China’s border port with Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, open for fresh fruit imports.

The border port of Dongxing in China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has recently begun allowing the import of fresh fruits from Âu Lạc (Vietnam) and other nations like Thailand. A Dongxing customs official stated that nine varieties of fruits from Âu Lạc (Vietnam) are now authorized for importation, as well as 22 kinds from Thailand. Delectable types that may enter include durians, dragon fruits, jack fruits, wax apples and more. The inaugural fruit shipment that came to Dongxing weighed 275 metric tons and filled 13 container trucks. China is a Shining World Leadership Award for Wise Governance recipient and a laureate of six Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, Environmental Protection, Wildlife-Protection, and Compassionate Protection. Way to go, China, for permitting the entry of delicious and healthy fruits from abroad for your citizens to enjoy. In the radiance of the Buddha, may such collaboration and free trade continue to expand between nations as we share with each other all the good things that we have to offer.

Hero risks his life to save two people from crashed car.

Gabriel Lascurain, a shuttle driver in Oregon, United States, was on the highway of his normal route at 2:15 am when he saw a vehicle that had crashed into the road’s embankment and was on fire. A young man and woman were inside shouting for help. The courageous Mr. Lascurain immediately stopped his truck, and using his tools was able to pull out the trapped occupants just seconds before the car exploded. Mr. Lascurain realized he was risking his life but said, “I had to just put myself aside and say, ‘I have to do this.’” He also shared, “I pray I never have to do it again but if I had to, I would.” The rescued pair were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A standing ovation, Gabriel Lascurain, for your heroic, life-saving response! God bless you. May the people you saved fully recover soon and have a bright and safe future in Heaven’s grace.

Coming up, vegan meat sales almost double in Switzerland. It will only take us a moment to open the curtains to allow rays of sunlight into the room. You’re watching Noteworthy News on Supreme Master Television. Vegan side effect: People will talk about your courage to chagne. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Wonderful News for a Gracious World.

Switzerland sees large increase in sales of plant-based meat.

According to the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) in Switzerland, the sales of vegan meat products in the nation have almost doubled since 2016 to US$130 million in 2020. Vegan burgers are particularly popular, and one in six burger patties now sold are plant-based, while five years ago, it was one in 14. In total, 5,705 metric tons of plant-based meat were sold in 2020. The FOAG noted that the rising purchases represent a significant opportunity for the country’s agriculture industry, as currently, almost all vegan proteins used for meat analogs are imported. Congratulations, Switzerland, on your growing love of plant-based foods. In the wisdom of the Providence, may your dignified citizens always make the wise vegan choice when considering food options.

New Zealand water agency trains dogs to detect leaks.

Auckland’s council-controlled agency Watercare has been training three rescued puppies to track down hidden leaks in the city’s underground water pipe network. Previously mistreated and abandoned, the 7-month-old siblings, Flo, Piper, and Awa, are learning to detect the smell of chlorine which is used to disinfect drinking water. With their super-sensitive noses, trained dogs can sniff out chlorine up to a meter underground and pinpoint the exact location of leaks so that repair can be done to save water and energy. The scent-detection canine trainees are expected to graduate and be seen out on Auckland’s streets by the end of this year. Keep up the good work, Flo, Piper, and Awa! Our gratefulness, Watercare, for adopting the blessed trio and giving them a chance to help Auckland conserve water. May we cherish and protect all our animal co-inhabitants whose extraordinary abilities continue to amaze and assist us, in Celestial kindness.

Life isn’t beautiful without happiness and laughter. Enjoy our joke of the day entitled “Experience.”

“For how long did you work at your last job?”

“30 years.”

“And how old are you, ma’am?”

“I’m 20 years old.”

“Wait, you are 20 and have 30 years of experience? How can this be possible?”

“I did lots of overtime!”

“?!”

And now we have a heartline from Fariba in Australia:

Hallo, my Dear Master, How beautiful and pure You are. My Dear God, I miss You so much. How long I have searched to find You. Ever since I can remember, since I was a child, I have tried every way, I searched everywhere to find You. Every time, after a while, I realized that that way was not right. I always looked at the sky and called You in my heart. I knew this world is a prison, and I do not belong here.

A few years ago, when I didn’t know Master, I had a dream that was not a dream. I saw that I went to a beautiful world and was fascinated by watching the lights, colors, and immense beautiful flowers. Then, I saw a heavenly being, a very beautiful girl, who showed me that place, and then she stood at the top of a high summit and asked me, “What is your wish?” Without any hesitation, my only wish, which was to see God, came into my mind, and before I could say my wish, I saw God in the form of a Lady, and She embraced me tightly with an indescribable joy. No words can express the feeling I had at that moment. Even the height and appearance of that Lady were completely the same as my Dear Master Ching Hai. A few months after that dream, miraculously, I found You among thousands of books and videos that, for many years, I used to search for the Truth.

And from the first glance, I realized that You do not belong to this world. From Your beautiful and radiant face, it was obvious that You are Heavenly. Due to the pandemic, the initiation ceremony has been canceled many times for over a year now. Every time after the cancellation, it seems as if I am sinking into a sea of deep disappointment and sorrow. My greatest wish is to receive initiation and see You in person. And my next wish is to be able to work for world peace. I would like to dedicate all my love and work to help people in need, animals and the planet Earth. Master, please help me to be a good disciple of Yours and also that these wishes come true. From far away, I prostrate at Your feet, and kiss Your footsteps and send the tears of my love to Your beautiful glance. Sending with a world of love, Fariba from Australia

Pure Fariba, Master responds in loving recognition: “Devout Fariba, I shed tears reading your letter, feeling your utmost sincerity and pain in your spiritual quest! Your heartfelt yearning and lifelong search are so intense because you are ready to go Home. So simply remember this and know I Love you as you patiently await initiation. In the meantime, be happy that you can help to spread the vegan diet and lifestyle in so many ways to rescue our world and bring us lasting peace. May Divine Grace guide your path each day, bringing wisdom and serenity to you and the pioneering Australian people.”
