In today’s news, Chinese company lightens rural Nigerian village with donated solar panels, Japanese Subaru Telescope upgraded to analyze 2,400 galaxies at once, young artist’s specially designed story books delight visually impaired children, world’s largest floating wind farm starts production in Norway, eight-year-old boy saves family from burning home in United States, PETA UK releases advertisement to encourage people to have a vegan Christmas, and non-profit in the United States matches senior dog-people and elderly caregivers.

Chinese company brings clean, low-cost light to rural village in Nigeria.

Started by the Alliance of Chinese Business in Africa for Social Responsibilities, the “100 companies in 1,000 villages” campaign will mobilize a minimum of 100 Chinese enterprises in Africa to join in carrying out at least 1,000 aid projects in the coming years. The intention is to help improve society and environment, whilst promoting sustainable growth of the economy. PowerChina, a state-owned hydroelectric and construction entity, recently donated more than 500 solar power light systems to Lauteye village in north Nigeria, thus ending the village’s reliance on kerosene lamps and charcoal fires. In addition, villagers will no longer have to walk two kilometers to charge their cell phones, which will greatly improve their quality of life. Our sincere gratitude to the Chinese business community for your compassionate services to the people of Africa. In Buddha’s guidance, we wish you great success with the “100 companies in 1,000 villages” campaign.

Subaru Telescope in Hawaii, United States, upgraded to analyze 2,400 celestial objects concurrently.

The National Astronomical Observation of Japan’s Subaru Telescope on Hawaii's Mauna Kea, has implemented the new Prime Focus Spectrograph that was developed through an international collaboration. This futuristic technology expands the field of view to observe 1.3 degrees simultaneously over a patch of sky the size of several moons. The spectrograph will increase the field of view by 50 times and celestial objects by 20 times in contrast to the current optical spectroscopy. All data is fed to the Spectrograph System for analysis. Astronomers will use the new system to help us better understand the mysteries of our universe, including dark matter and dark energy as well as galaxy formation. Exciting news, National Astronomical Observation of Japan, on your fantastic technological achievement that sheds further light on our far-reaching cosmos. In Heaven’s elevating light, may humans continue to work together to bring about a better future for all. “Animal-people products n addictive drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, etc., these create a wall around u, n obstruct u from seeing God. Stop them.”

Up next, young artist’s specially designed story books delight visually impaired children. We will pause a moment to thank the waste collectors, who not only regularly empty the trash bins and return them safely to families, but also contribute to the community's health and cleanliness. Please stay for more benefiting news on Supreme Master Television.

Hi, selfless friends, it’s me, Gail, a vegan girl from the Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey kingdom! One of the many benefits of living a life of compassion toward all beings is the knowledge that you are a part of creating Heaven on earth! How cool is that! I've got a learning tip for you today. Teach your little ones the importance of respecting our animal friends and their natural habitats. You can do this by observing animal-people with your children right in your backyard. Point out the animal-persons you encounter while going on a walk with your kids. Explain to them how the environment affects our animal friends' well-being; therefore, looking after it will allow them to live happily. You can also take a tour of sanctuaries that rehabilitate animal-people with your child and share with them the significance of their protection. Make this an informative experience for them by connecting how our animal-person co-inhabitants' environments are related to our planet's health. When children understand this link, it will become natural for them to respect and safeguard the animal-people. Thank you for tuning in, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather around the world!

Young artist’s specially designed storybooks delight visually impaired children.

A talented 24-year-old artist named Taimaa Salama, in Gaza, Palestine, has successfully created story books for the visually impaired. Taimaa was inspired to help blind children realize more about their surroundings through her knowledge and expertise of a technique known as “relief art.” With this method, she combines Braille and physical materials such as clay, cloth, buttons, and rasps to create her storybooks. So far, Taimaa has produced two 12-paged-short-stories, inspired by “The Tree and the Woodcutter” – a Palestinian folklore; and “Miracle” – written by Jihan Abu Lashin, a distinguished Palestinian writer. The children were excited, and encouraged the author to continue to make more. Our admiration to you, Taimaa Salama, for your love of the arts and your dedication to bring beauty to the visually impaired. May Allah bless you and fellow Palestinians in your bid to bring joy and love to the world.

Norway starts power production of the world’s largest floating wind farm.

The Hywind Tampen wind farm is installed on floating structures located 138 kilometers off the Norwegian coast in the North Sea. Operated by Norwegian energy company, Equinor, by 2023, it will have a capacity of 88 megawatts and will be used to power about 35% of the requirements of the Gullfaks and Snorres oil and gas fields. This will reduce CO2 emissions by around 200,000 tonnes each year. Equinor’s Executive Vice-President for Exploration and Production, Kjetil Hove explains, “Hywind Tampen cuts emissions from the oil and gas industry and increases the gas export to Europe. This is an important contribution towards transforming the Norwegian continental shelf from an oil and gas province to a broad energy province.” Congratulations Equinor, on the successful launch of this important project. In Divine wisdom, may our renewable energy technology continue to improve so that the planet can move towards a sustainable future.

Eight-year-old boy alerts family members of blaze inside home in United States.

When Channing smelled smoke and realized the room he was watching television in had caught fire, he immediately went to the living room to tell his mother. The quick-thinking boy then followed his mom’s instructions to get his little sister out of the house while she called the fire department for help. Douglas County fire officials credit Channing’s swift actions and the home’s smoke alarms as the reasons the family managed to escape safely. Channing says he was taught at school to immediately notify others in the home if he could smell smoke in the house. His mother, Jasmine, calls him a hero and says, “Channing is super smart, and was calm during the whole situation. We are super proud of him.” Bravo, Channing, for your alertness and wise actions. We are glad that you and your family are safe, and hope that you all will always be protected, in Celestial love. Vegan: the true heroism

Coming up, UK animal charity releases advertisement to encourage people to have a vegan Christmas. Let’s spend a few moments in prayer now, as we pray together for us to “always err on the side of compassion.” We’ll return with more enriching news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Conscientious News for a Greener World. Touching animation raises awareness about what we are eating during holiday season.

People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) UK has created a Christmas advertisement that encourages people to have a vegan holiday.

At the start of the animation, a mother turkey-person helps her baby escape from a truck heading to the slaughterhouse. A kind family passing by picks up the baby and he quickly becomes a family member. On Christmas eve, the turkey-child sees a TV advertisement from the factory that kills turkey-people for food and starts to panic as if he will also be slaughtered and eaten. The animation ends happily as the family is vegan. Jennifer White (vegan), PETA UK’s communications manager said, “…we are celebrating the season of peace and goodwill with the corpse of a tortured bird in the middle of the table.” The inspiring ad will be shown in cinemas across the UK with the message “Peace on Earth begins at home” throughout the holiday season. Kudos, PETA UK team, for your heartwarming advertisement to awaken people about the cruelty on our tables. May your touching animation inspire people to switch their diet to compassionate vegan on the upcoming holiday, in God’s Grace.

Non-profit connects senior dog-people and older caregivers.

Wet Nose Rescue, founded in 2008 by Stephen and Kim Leslie of Philadelphia, USA, has the goal of finding loving homes for dog-persons and puppies who have been neglected or abandoned. While waiting to be adopted, the canine-friends live in local foster homes where they can experience family life. One of the non-profit’s programs, Grey Nose Rescue, pairs senior dogs and older people so both may experience the joy of a loving companion during their special golden years. The Rescue also supports seniors in becoming permanent foster parents by paying for necessities such as food and medical care for their new furry friend, expenses that the caregivers otherwise may not be able to afford. A standing ovation Stephen and Kim Leslie and Wet Nose Rescue. We pray all beautiful canine-people have supportive angels like you looking out for them. In the tender embrace of the Providence, may the faithful dog-folk be always respected and taken care of as our beloved friends.

Let's put on those chuckle fins and enjoy a refreshing dive with the joke of the day, entitled, “The Rings Say It All.”

Little Erin was sitting beside a lady in the hospital waiting room with her mom. She looked at all the rings on the lady's fingers and exclaimed:

“Wow, you must have had a lot of husbands!”

?!
