So, that’s why I advise you also if you have problems, with your house being too big, too much mortgage to pay, and too much insurance, too much everything just to run it, then sell it. Buy a smaller house. You won’t die. I promise. And if you do, it’s your time is up! Not because of the house!

I stay in many small, small houses, even in caves, and I’m still here and look pretty. We don’t need much, I’m telling you the truth. Today, I cleaned my house. I was timing to see how quick it is. Five minutes total. Including sweeping the floor, cleaning the toilet, cleaning the sink, cleaning the shower, and the kitchen areas and the floor, and mopping afterward. Perfect, clean, smells nice, sparkling. Five minutes. I told you how already, didn’t I? The day before? No? I tell you again? I’m not a janitor chief. You watch the TV. Okay, I’ll tell you again. It’s very easy. You sweep the floor, or you use… because your house is small. Like my house I just left, 4 by 4. But it has a toilet, shower, kitchen, refrigerator fit-in. And even a big oven which I never use, they already bought it ready-made. Normally I use only those small ovens, that’s enough. You know what I mean? You can bake two trays in it at the same time, it’s enough. In Hong Kong, I used only that and you saw how much, I don’t know if they ever showed that video, you saw how many (vegan) cakes I baked in Hong Kong. Enough to feed the whole village, the lucky Hong Kong people. I used only those small ovens, pocket ovens. You save a lot of energy and you bake okay, just the same.

And so, okay, 4 by 4. First, you wipe all the dust, or you use a duster to, how you say, dust your furniture. Well, I don’t have much anyway, just have a sofa and a place for the TV. And the closet you don’t have to dust it, and just a little table, smaller than this, very small. Singing by the way. And then you use a car vacuum cleaner, this big, energy friendly. You plug in and then few minutes, you vacuum it, and then you plug it back again. You don’t have to use a big vacuum cleaner which uses a lot of electricity, also keeps bumping all into your furniture, because you drag it around with the thing. My assistant before, she used to break so many tiles on the floor because of that, not to talk about other stuff. So just a car vacuum cleaner is perfect for many of my houses, because they’re very small. So how long can it take? Of course, five minutes! You vacuum it or you use a sweeper, and then you spray vinegar all over the house, then you use a wet mop to mop it and you’re done. How long can it take? Five minutes is already very leisurely. You could do faster than that. Five minutes, that was including after I have to, I wash some of the cloths. And because I’m moving out of there, so I want to keep it clean until I come back, if I come back. And I had to even move all the stuff from the fridge and clean the fridge as well, all that included.

You tell the New York Times, if they have to pick “Housewife of the Year,” I’m there. Ready anytime.
